Maronea fully expresses the elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon & Franc.
Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 26-28 °C for 25 days. Ageing of 18 months in French oak barrels of 1-2° medium toasting passage, followed by 6 months in bottle, without being filtered or treated for clarification to preserve its integrity.
This wine is characterised by deep red colour ripe fruit, coffee and truffle notes stand out on the nose.
Light animal notes, accompany a concentrated, rich and important mouth that allows refinement for long years in bottle, during which the wine acquires elegance and definition typical of the great Bolgheri red wines. It goes perfectly with local preparations based on wild boar, with stewed red meat stews, it is excellent with medium aged hard cheeses.
