The single-vineyard Merlot is the result of careful management of the estate's best Merlot vineyards. The grapes are further selected in the cellar before and after destemming before being vinified in cement tanks.
Ageing is done 90% in new French oak barrels of various origins and 10% in cement tanks. After 18 months of ageing, each batch of Merlot from the different vineyards is tasted individually and only the best are assembled for the final cut.
The fruit is very present both on the nose and in the mouth, along with spicy and varietal notes that combine perfectly with a very sweet and persistent tannin.
Pairs well with rich meat-based pasta dishes.
