It is obtained from pure Glera grapes, harvested and selected exclusively by hand in September. After the classic white wine production, the Spumante is made according to Charmat Method, by re-fermentation in autoclave for 20-25 days, with maturation on lees for a few weeks and for another 1-2 months in bottle.
Prosecco DOC from Astoria is characterised by a pale straw yellow colour, with greenish reflections. It opens on the nose with intense aromas of yellow fruit, enriched with characteristic varietal aromas. On the palate it is full and dry, slightly juicy
