Astoria Extra Brut Millesimato Yu Sushi sparkling wine comes from vineyards in the hilly of Val del Brun Estate, in the province of Treviso.
It is obtained from a skilful blend of white grapes typical of the Treviso area, harvested and selected by hand in September. After the classic vinification , the sparkling wine is made according to Charmat Method, with 20-25 days of secondary fermentation in autoclaves followed by another 15 days of stay on the lees. The wine is then aged in the bottle for 4-6 weeks, before bottling.
It is characterised by a pale straw yellow colour and a tiny and persistent fizz. The nose opens with strong fruity aromas of pear, citrus and wisteria flowers. The palate is slightly acidic, pleasantly dry and harmonious.
